Public bug reported: The SecondLife client window hangs after exiting the client. The only way to get rid of the window, is to simply kill the process (-9). This is consistent every time. Did not have any problem on Jaunty (9.04).
Made fresh Karmic (9.10) installation and then downloaded the SecondLife client at: http://download.cloud.secondlife.com/SecondLife-i686-1.23.5.136262.tar.bz2 Starting the SL client works well. Then, when trying to exit the client, the window just hangs. I have also attached the system information log files as instructed below. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [karmic 64-bit] Application window and process hangs after exit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/468405 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
