Public bug reported:

The SecondLife client window hangs after exiting the client. The only
way to get rid of the window, is to simply kill the process (-9). This
is consistent every time. Did not have any problem on Jaunty (9.04).

Made fresh Karmic (9.10) installation and then downloaded the SecondLife
client at:

http://download.cloud.secondlife.com/SecondLife-i686-1.23.5.136262.tar.bz2

Starting the SL client works well. Then, when trying to exit the client,
the window just hangs.

I have also attached the system information log files as instructed
below.
