Hi, don't know what more information I can give. Laptop C64O, Dell Latitude. Hit button hibernate. Computer shuts down. But on restart, produces striped desktop. Can't get out of that one. Sorry for my language: am Flemish, Belgium and no technical computerknowledge whatsoever. Ubuntu-linux was a friends gift. Installed fiesty now, so the current kernel is 2.6.20-8
