It happens for all sorts of media, Diskettes, CD-ROMs, MMC cards etc., on different machines. The important part is that the device should not be mounted when you click on it, otherwise you would not notice this bug. I've just tried it again to make sure, it's still there. Do it like this: 1) Insert a CD, it will get auto mounted by default 2) type unmount /media/cdrom0 3) click on the CD-ROM icon in 'Computer'
