Public bug reported:

When I'm running amarok I got:
nu...@novopad:~$ amarok
amarok: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libamaroklib.so.1: undefined symbol:
_ZTIN6TagLib3MP44FileE

Although I installed amarok-dbg when I run gdb amarok, I'm getting :
Reading symbols from /usr/bin/amarok...Reading symbols from
/usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/amarok...done.
(no debugging symbols found)...done.

Then I've done apt-get purge amarok libtag-extras1 && rm /usr/lib/libtag* && rm
/usr/local/lib/libtag*
and after installing back both I've got:
amarok: error while loading shared libraries: libtag.so.1: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

I have installed before amarok from source, probably it messed something
but shouldn't apt-get check what is already in the system and what isn't
?

** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Package changed: ubuntu => amarok (Ubuntu)
