Korean text displays strangely in menus. However, text typed in an
editor or shown on a web page seems fine.
The text will often be missing pieces of the letters, as though some
sides were cut off. I'm not sure if the text is running together or not,
though.
Just upgraded via the Update Manager from Jaunty 9.04 to Karmic 9.10.
Had many Korean fonts installed already, so I don't see why missing
fonts would be a problem. Although, I don't know how to check for that
if it were the case. Did the upgrade change which fonts are used by
default?
This problem also happens just running normally from the Karmic Live CD.
No problems in Jaunty.
Also, I'm not sure I filed this under the right package (originally
under xorg). If it's filed wrong, should I re-file the bug elsewhere?
