Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: refit

Release: karmic
gptsync version: 0.13-3ubuntu2

Karmic's default partitioning scheme on GPT includes a BIOS Boot
Partition ( http://grub.enbug.org/BIOS_Boot_Partition ) for embedding
grub. After installation, the hybrid MBR may need to be sync'ed, so the
user may run gptsync to do so. But with the BIOS Boot Partition present,
gptsync reports "GPT partition of type 'Unknown' found, will not touch
this disk" and bails.

The BIOS Boot Partition should be added to the list of partition types
understood by refit.
