Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
To reproduce:
1. Attempt to install Feisty Herd 4 over another installation of Feisty.
2. When you manually select partitions, do not check "format" for your root
partition.
3. Somewhere during the file copying stage, ubiquity will just crash without
giving any feedback.
I will attach the ubiquity lines from /var/log/user.log
