I can confirm the crash as well. 64 bit with nvidia pci-e. I don't
honestly even know what ecc ram is.. I may have it but never heard of it
before.. Karmic was great when I first started beta testing it, and now
it runs terrible..  I checked my bios and don't find anything that
mentioned the acronym ECC or anything like it..  I have been watching
this thread grow each day, and we are just a couple of days from roll
out of Karmic.. She's was looking really swell, but my users right now
don't have any crashes on previous versions of Ubuntu, and they are not
going to be too happy when they start having crashes with Karmic (oh
boy!).. Should I tell my users not to upgrade (delay and watch until
this is fixed) to 9.10 if they are running 64 bit and running nvidia or
not? Please advise, because idk what ecc is..  Maybe put a warning on
the ubuntu web site, just to let people know to hold and wait for now..
