I installed Xubuntu 9.10 beta from the Xubuntu beta installation disc.
In the beginning everything was working fine. But after some time (maybe
after changing resolution via "Settings -> Display") I have difficulties
logging into X. This takes between 1 or 5 login tries.
Along with that problem I lost the xfce-panel, which I worked around
with adding it add manually to "Session and Autostart".
My system is quite "default" and uptodate, with some packages from
medibuntu.
In my home directory there's a .xsession-errors.old with these contents:

Setting IM through im-switch for locale=en_US.
Start IM through /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL linked to
/etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default.
