Update: I reverted to version 2.0beta of the betavine driver that worked under Jaunty this morning due to massive connect problems with network manager as well the betavine program. Now it works but conflicted the whole Ubuntu One folder again. At the moment a complete re-download is running (~ 1.1 GB).
