Purging alsa-base and pulseaudio and reinstalling them got the incorrect soundcard recognition back, it helps in getting some sound (a bit dirty) but the bug (initial regression) is unfixed. I'm sorry i dont have many technical knowledge to help you, but anything you would like my to try, just ask. We still have a few days before final release, so many users can still benefit.
