Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm-guest-session

Hi, it seems that I can't start a guest user session. I click on the tray bar
and select "guest session", but it just locks the screen and asks me the psw.
Then it show me again my session, which is not what I wanted.
I tried to type this command:
sudo /usr/share/gdm/guest-session/guest-session-launch

The screen goes black and then it comes back with my session. This is
the output in the terminal:

** Message: Screensaver is not running!
xscreensaver-command: no screensaver is running on display :0.0
method return sender=:1.16 -> dest=:1.144 reply_serial=2
   object path "/org/gnome/DisplayManager/Display21"

It seems that I have some major problems with gdm, in fact if I type
"gdm" in the terminal I get this:

** (gdm-binary:17035): WARNING **: Failed to acquire
org.gnome.DisplayManager: Connection ":1.147" is not allowed to own the
service "org.gnome.DisplayManager" due to security policies in the
configuration file

** (gdm-binary:17035): WARNING **: Could not acquire name; bailing out

** Affects: gdm-guest-session (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
