Public bug reported: When installing Edgy from the Knot1 CD (live CD installer) there comes the moment when the hard drive must be partitioned. Choosing to edit the partition table manually (sorry, I don't know how this option is exactly called in the English version) opens up a new dialogue allowing to change partitions in a Partition Magic like style. When confirming the changes a new box opens saying something like "are you sure you want to ...". However, this box opens behind the partitioning window so that it cannot be seen. At the first time I waited for about 20 minutes as I thought realising the changes was already in progress. Shutting down the - in my eyes - crashed application showed me that there was a box I that wants to be clicked.
I retried and got the same procedure again; but this time I knew that the box was there, so it could not stop me ;-) ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Edgy Installer: Partitioning Tool opens confirmation box in background https://launchpad.net/bugs/54116 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
