Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

When you use Firefox a freshly started Karmic RC Live-CD, it might
notice in a webpage 'flash-type-plugin' is not installed. It will ask if
you want to install a such a plugin on the top of the page with a yellow
bar. When you click on it you get the the 3 options: gnash, Flash and
libswfdec. When you choose to install Flash it will ask you if you want
to enable the universe and multiverse apt-repositories because it
doesn't have those yet. If you choose to do so. It will enable them,
just fine, but it won't do a apt-get update or a reload as synaptic
calls it. So it can't find the package to install it so it fails.

After that you get the same behaviour as in bug #144042. It will say
it's installed but really hasn't.

** Affects: ubufox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: High
         Status: New
