I solved this Problem with karmic by turning "Audigy Analog/Digital Output Jack" ON. This was not possible with the normal GUI tools (there I couldn't even see this option, only some abstract pulseaudio options) or in the normal comandline alsamixer (the option is there, but I couldn't change it). Only in alsamixergui I could turn it ON.
I think for this card the option hase to be activated (automaticly?!?).
