An other update ... I made the update this afternoon and it asked me to reboot. I reboot and no graphic, what a surprised you'd say but the problem is my little workaround isn't working anymore. I had to uninstall ATI driver to regain access to the login screen and then to the desktop environement. It's no big deal but i'd like to know why it worked and now it's no longer working.
