Public bug reported:

I have a d-link DWA-140 wireless n adaptor for my pc. The adaptor has
worked with ubuntu in the past, however it refuses to work now. When it
is plugged in, nm-applet shows networks available (but not my home
network) and if I try to connect to one, it will attempt to connect but
it always fails. When I plug in another wireless adaptor, it works
perfectly fine, detecting and connecting to my home network. Other users
on the forums seem to have an issue getting the d-link to connect as
well.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
