Kubuntu Feisty Herd4 fresh install + all updates on HP nw8240 laptop.

When PCMCIA Compact Flash reader (or better adapter) with SanDisk Uptra
II 2 GB card is inserted into laptop, kernel Oops (see attachment).

This looks similar to bug 55695, which was fixed for Edgy kernel.
