Public bug reported:

When I play something with totem (audio or video, compressed, I haven't
tried DVD), the first file in the playlist is reproduced correctly. When
the first one is finished though, the audio freezes, and comes back only
after a long time (it seems proportional to the length of the file). The
totem gui remains responsive, and I can load other files in the playlist
or remove them, but nothing will play; no error messages are displayed.
If I play video files instead of audio, the video is played correctly
every time, but not the audio, and at the end of the video the image
stalls, "waiting" for the audio stream. If I leave it there the audio
finally arrives, and when it has finished it goes to the next video with
the same behaviour.

The problem wasn't there a few updates ago (not more than a week).
