Public bug reported: Binary package hint: eclipse
The libswt-gtk-3.5-jni package from eclipse source currently builds and installs these two libs for using the internal swt browser /usr/lib/jni/libswt-xpcominit-gtk-3555.so /usr/lib/jni/libswt-xulrunner-gtk-3555.so However, it is not including libswt-mozilla-gtk-3555.so which does seem to be needed by some eclipse plugins, having seen this java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError on startup with the latest 3.5.1-0ubuntu7 package : No more handles [MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME='/usr/lib/xulrunner- devel-1.9.0.14'] (java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-mozilla- gtk-3555 or swt-mozilla-gtk in swt.library.path, java.library.path or the jar file) Note that the old 'libswt-mozilla-gtk-3.4-jni' package did include all three libs: $ dpkg -L libswt-mozilla-gtk-3.4-jni | grep \.so /usr/lib/jni/libswt-mozilla-gtk-3452.so /usr/lib/jni/libswt-xulrunner-gtk-3452.so /usr/lib/jni/libswt-xpcominit-gtk-3452.so ** Affects: eclipse (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - libswt-gtk-3.5-jni does not install libswt-mozilla-gtk-3555.so ( + libswt-gtk-3.5-jni does not install libswt-mozilla-gtk-3555.so (needed for internal browser?) -- libswt-gtk-3.5-jni does not install libswt-mozilla-gtk-3555.so (needed for internal browser?) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/456167 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
