Ubuntu better. If you could please attach debug information associated
with desktop switcher to this bug, that may help us to resolve it.
There are many bugs already open where desktop switcher causes problems,
so you may want to check through them and see if what you're seeing
looks like a dup, but I don't really have enough information here to
tell myself. If you want to open a new bug against desktop switcher
after recreating, you can use 'ubuntu-bug desktop-switcher'. Or you can
just use apport-collect -p desktop-switcher 452840 to attach it to this
bug.
However, from the sounds of your bug, it seems you want to be running
the regular gnome desktop rather than the netbook-launcher based unr.
If that's the case, then why not just install the i386 version of Ubuntu
desktop?
