Public bug reported: Binary package hint: amule
Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 aMule version: 2.2.6-0ubuntu1 How to reproduce: 1. Start aMule 2. Wait for a bit, look for the gmon.out file in your home directory. http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/Configure#aMule_options says: --enable-profile Enable code profiling (which allows to see how much time and resources are spent on each part of the code, though it will make aMule run much slower, so, in most cases, don't use it). The output file is gmon.out and can be viewed with gprof. For more information, man gprof and man gcc (in the man pages of gcc, search for the command line option -pg) aMule probably is being built with --enable-profile. ** Affects: amule (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- aMule is creating gmon.out file in home directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/455497 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
