Hi Dominic Could I have you remove (or rename) your ~/.eclipse your workspace. Then after eclipse has loaded (and the dropins should have been handled), close eclipse and find $WORKSPACE/.metadata/.log (usually ~/workspace/.metadata/.log) and post it here.
