Thanks for your bug report. I heard some rumours on the forums that the last 2.9.0 was not working correctly for some people, but unfortunately nobody there provided any information like log files.
> Yesterday a new version of xserver-xorg-video-intel came out for Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) and I upgraded it using Synaptic. Note that you are using the -intel driver from the x-updates PPA which is not fully, officially supported. The official version in Jaunty is still 2:2.6.3-0ubuntu9.3. Anyway, feel free to file bugs here about the x-updates packages, but please mark it clearly in the description that it is x-updates. And please subscribe the last uploader (me in this case). Albert, thanks for finding the issue and solving it. I will upload a new package. Sergio, the old package is available in the PPA, just search for packages with "Any status": https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates/+packages?field.name_filter=intel&field.status_filter=&field.series_filter=jaunty -- [x-updates] screen resolution messed up; no longer recognizes monitor type https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/454029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
