To most Ubuntu users, the version in the repository is the only version.
The fact that Ubuntu has not kept up with upstream maintenance releases,
reflects badly on Ubuntu, but to the average user it completely trashes
glabels and my reputations, even though the problems have been long
since fixed.  Why couldn't Ubuntu update to 2.2.5 six months ago in
Jaunty?

If Ubuntu cannot make a commitment to keep up with the upstream stable
branch, I would rather they didn't package it all.
