To most Ubuntu users, the version in the repository is the only version. The fact that Ubuntu has not kept up with upstream maintenance releases, reflects badly on Ubuntu, but to the average user it completely trashes glabels and my reputations, even though the problems have been long since fixed. Why couldn't Ubuntu update to 2.2.5 six months ago in Jaunty?
If Ubuntu cannot make a commitment to keep up with the upstream stable branch, I would rather they didn't package it all. -- Please upgrade glabels (universe) to 2.2.5 (stable) from upstream https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/317164 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
