The bug exists also with mainline vanilla kernel 2.6.32-999-generic
#200910171000 SMP Sat Oct 17 09:56:20 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux.

Please help to solve this by commenting at
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14424, especially if you have
different hardware. (EEE 1008ha here).

I am not sure if this is processor-specific.
