If one tries to install couchdb through the repositories the installation script seems to lack any dependencies as simply the couchdb is reported to be installed. However, I am now manually installing couchdb and I have needed to install spidermonkey icu and curl so far... Though the curl package didn't install curl-config and so I am stuck yet again. :(
