Public bug reported: Binary package hint: debian-installer
Using (booting from burned CD) the current Ubuntu (9.10 beta) netinstall mini.iso (dated okt 15, 2009) with cli-expert mode, all went well until after the final reboot. My nVIDIA nFORCE MCP55 ethernet adaptor on my ASUS M2N32 Deluxe mainboard gets detected and configured correctly by debian-installer. The whole install routine went smoothly. No error messages whatsoever. After the final reboot there is no forcedeth module loaded and the forcedeth.ko module also doesn't exist anywhere on the system (modprobe and I can't find it). ** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 9.10 beta karmic mini.iso netinstall ubuntu -- debian-installer does not install nvidia nforce network card driver forcedeth https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/453970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
