Still seeing the message. Linux upstairs 2.6.31-14-generic #47-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 15 03:42:30 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux the 2.6.31-14 kernel is the latest that I get, I think it's the latest there is, and I'm still getting the error. I don't use any splash screens at all, maybe that's related?
