Alright, I have spent some more time looking around this and I got things working:
italc is using a resource file for the translations and the icons and the Chinese translation was not included in there, probably because it was not 100% completed. My colleague Jason Wu has terminated the translation (attached) and I have included his work in the resource file, recompiled and now everything is working, we just need to 1. publish zh_cn.ts (from ima/resources) lrelease zh_cn.ts -qm zh_cn.qm 2. in ima/italc.qrc, add: <file>resources/zh_cn.qm</file> recompile (I know nothing about compiling so I just run make clean && ./configure && make but there is probably a more efficient way) ** Attachment added: "Simplified Chinese translation file for italc master (ima)" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33744745/zh_cn.ts -- italc-master s interface is not available in Chinese https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/435354 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
