I tried to install the sunbird-dev package again today and it worked without further actions. I didn't try the "sudo aptitude update" trick and I actually don't know what it could be good for, but I'll certainly remember it whenever a similiar problem might occure. Nevertheless, thanks a lot for your answer. It's always good to know to not being left alone with such kind of problem.
