I don't think so, the bug (at least on my machine - Gnome-64) is clear, no files can be seen while clicking properties/icon exactly as Trevor Skaife reported some hours ago and as shown at both screenshots. The referred (old) bug is: "When you try to set up a custom icon for an application with alacarte, it's not possible to use a picture that is not in the default folder, it's possible to browse the different folders of the system through the file picker but the pictures/files won't be displayed." I am not trying to set up a custom icon, I just tried the sequence "Properties/Icon/Browse Icons" and no file can be seen. Not at the default directory, not at anywhere else. Please, observe at my screenshot that Nautilus show them all. Perhaps the "Show Hidden Files" option at "Browser" is locked to "no". The lost icon problem began while setting icons options (panel) for Firefox and Shiretoko at 9.04 install (/home is shared). Later, on 9.10, observed that the link was broken because (of course) the Shiretoko icon was not available. Trying to reset the icon to default showed the problem, no file can be seen on any directory under "Properties/Icon/Browse Icons" or "Properties/Icon/Browse Icons/Browse". Returned to 9.04, went through the same sequence, choose an icon also available at 9.10 and my FF Icon returned at Katmic, but still cannot do it the same on 9.10, either on panel or System/Preferences/Main Menu/Internet/Firefox/Properties, etc... Of course this bug is not limited to Firefox, I do not have access to any icon through this sequence. -- L M Nicolosi, Eng. Lat.: 23°34'4.79"S - Long.: 46°39'59.53"W Linux Regist.
