I'm changing it to linux because it's not just a problem when using the proprietary nvidia drivers - see bug #447765. I get the problem with both the proprietary nvidia driver AND the open-source nv driver, and Hans B reported it on a system using an ATI card. Also it seems to have happened with the update to either the 2.6.31-12 or -13 kernel.
I agree this is critical, or at the very least 'high' importance. Could it be something to do with kernel mode setting? ** Package changed: nvidia-graphics-drivers-180 (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- ttys broken with kernel 2.6.31-13 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447904 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
