Jaunty installer (Ubuntu netbook remix) is also affected. I install Ubuntu on a Acer Aspire one. I set up the root filesystem on a sdhc card (/boot is on the inner flash). The partition tool and installer work perfectly. But after reboot the linux kernel does not find the root filesystem before I add [sdhc sdhci_pci mmc_block] to /etc/initramfs- tools/modules and rebuild the initrd image.
