Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libao-pulse
I just installed Ubuntu Karmic Beta, and everything works fine except for the following: I have a M-Audio Delta 1010lt (ice1712) sound card, which worked fine under jaunty. The card is recognized by pulseaudio, but not with the correct inputs/outputs. In the Hardware tab in the audio settings I can choose a profile for my ice1712 soundcard, but the only profiles available are digital stereo output/input (ice958) and digital surround. As it does not recognize the analog outputs and inputs, I cannot use the soundcard to play music via my speakers. Here the output of aplay -l: **** Liste von PLAYBACK Geräten **** Karte 0: M1010LT [M Audio Delta 1010LT], Gerät 0: ICE1712 multi [ICE1712 multi] Untergeordnete Geräte: 0/1 Untergeordnetes Gerät '0: subdevice #0 Karte 2: Intel [HDA Intel], Gerät 0: ALC883 Analog [ALC883 Analog] Untergeordnete Geräte: 1/1 Untergeordnetes Gerät '0: subdevice #0 Karte 2: Intel [HDA Intel], Gerät 1: ALC883 Digital [ALC883 Digital] Untergeordnete Geräte: 1/1 Untergeordnetes Gerät '0: subdevice #0 and aplay -L: front:CARD=M1010LT,DEV=0 M Audio Delta 1010LT, ICE1712 multi Front speakers surround40:CARD=M1010LT,DEV=0 M Audio Delta 1010LT, ICE1712 multi 4.0 Surround output to Front and Rear speakers surround41:CARD=M1010LT,DEV=0 M Audio Delta 1010LT, ICE1712 multi 4.1 Surround output to Front, Rear and Subwoofer speakers surround50:CARD=M1010LT,DEV=0 M Audio Delta 1010LT, ICE1712 multi 5.0 Surround output to Front, Center and Rear speakers surround51:CARD=M1010LT,DEV=0 M Audio Delta 1010LT, ICE1712 multi 5.1 Surround output to Front, Center, Rear and Subwoofer speakers iec958:CARD=M1010LT,DEV=0 M Audio Delta 1010LT, ICE1712 multi IEC958 (S/PDIF) Digital Audio Output null Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture) pulse Playback/recording through the PulseAudio sound server front:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 HDA Intel, ALC883 Analog Front speakers surround40:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 HDA Intel, ALC883 Analog 4.0 Surround output to Front and Rear speakers surround41:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 HDA Intel, ALC883 Analog 4.1 Surround output to Front, Rear and Subwoofer speakers surround50:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 HDA Intel, ALC883 Analog 5.0 Surround output to Front, Center and Rear speakers surround51:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 HDA Intel, ALC883 Analog 5.1 Surround output to Front, Center, Rear and Subwoofer speakers surround71:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 HDA Intel, ALC883 Analog 7.1 Surround output to Front, Center, Side, Rear and Woofer speakers iec958:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 HDA Intel, ALC883 Digital IEC958 (S/PDIF) Digital Audio Output ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Oct 9 11:46:48 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/yelp NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: yelp 2.28.0-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-11.36-generic SourcePackage: yelp Uname: Linux 2.6.31-11-generic x86_64 ** Affects: libao-pulse (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- Pulseaudio does not recognize ICE1712 correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447092 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
