Binary package hint: gdm
I use ubuntu karmic Beta (french version, I updated from ubuntu 9.04, i386).
Gdm don't show the complete users list, user number 1000 is not shown, neither
in gdmsetup.
users 1001 dan 1002 are shown them. users 1000 and 1001 are both
administrators, 1002 is a simple Desktop user.
It's not very important if you now what to do instead: Even if user 1000 is not
shown in the list I can use it if at connection I choose others and type the
name and password.
The package version of gdm is 2.28.0-0ubuntu14
