While one would expect the debug symbols to be part of the parent package-dbgsym, (udev-dbgsym for libgudev-debugsym, and devicekit-power- debugsym for devicekit-power-daemon, gdb still says there are no debug symbols installed.
I ran gdb with sudo gdb /usr/lib/devicekit-power/devkit-power-daemon 2>&1 |tee /home/chris/gdb-devicekit-power-daemon.txt and get Reading symbols from /usr/lib/devicekit-power/devkit-power-daemon...Reading symbols from /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/devicekit-power/devkit-power-daemon...done. (no debugging symbols found)...done.
