Public bug reported:
Running an up-to-date Feisty system. Any time I lock the screen, by
screen saver or closing the lid on my laptop, can type my password in
the dialog box to unlock the screen but then it hangs until it
eventually says "Time has expired". From that point on I am locked out
of my desktop until I reboot.
