The Dell Precision M4400 has the same bug.  I'm intrigued by
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=7808011#7808011 which indicates
that replacing the hardware fixed the problem.  Multiple hardware
revisions going around?

The patch that's floating around is half of a workaround--you can still
get into situations where the mouse buttons will seemingly stick, but at
least the mouse doesn't jump or randomly send clicks anymore.  I further
modified it to try to deal with this, but it's a horrible kludge (and I
haven't tested it against newer kernels.)
