I'm sorry but I don't understand. Grsync isn't included in Karmic by default, so why couldn't a new version be introduced?? I'm not a programmer, just tested bugs and making some observations. Are you saying that all the packages in the repos are also frozen?? If so I didn't realize that all the packages that don't come with Karmic are frozen as well.
