So we have a bit of a problem. I did take a look at this and maven2 now needs libmaven-clean-plugin-java to build. Unfortunately, the source for this package (maven-clean-plugin) also build depends on libmaven- clean-plugin-java, so there is no way to build it without manual bootstrapping. I'll ask a buildd admin about doing it, but no guarantees.
