Public bug reported: Booting with wireless disabled by the hardware switch on my laptop works fine. Once i switch wireless on, a process 'iwl3945' soon starts taking up 100% of CPU (on one out of two CPU's), causing a freeze.
Booting with wireless enabled causes the system to hang in an early stage. 'sudo modprobe -r iwl3945' works.
