Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card makes a popping sound a second before a sound is made (i.e. Flash Video, music) and also a few seconds after a sound is made it makes a popping sound. This bug was NOT present prior to my upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. I assume the popping sound is the sound card turning on and off.
