Just upgraded to the Karmic Beta - and the whole screen brightness alternates (low/high) every 1/2 second until the power applet kicks in and is displayed. Once the Gnome power manager 2.28.0 applet starts - the display is fine, and it stablises. This wasn't the case in 9.1 Jaunty. Is this related?
