Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nfs-common

While switching from ethernet to wi-fi a mounted NFS share is not accessible
for a while.
The ethernet is a intel e1000 (in 100T network) and the wireless is ipw220
(g,wpa2).

/etc/fstab line:
dogon:/mnt/data   /media/data   nfs   rw,hard,intr,user,noauto,noexec  0       0

steps to reproduce :
$ mount /media/data
[change network interface from ethernet to wi-fi]
$ ls /media/data
[hangs for a few minutes or until changing back to ethernet network]

dmesg output (dogon is the server NFS server name) :
 [17186070.672000] nfs: server dogon not responding, still trying
