I've tried to reproduce this bug using the latest version of Inkscape
(0.47~pre1-0ubuntu2 in karmic beta), and it seems to have been fixed.
If you still experience this bug when you upgrade, please feel free to
reopen this report by changing its status from "fix released" to "new".
