Sounds like it was not disabled. It should be disabled on new installs, upgrades from before 3.5.2+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 and (now) upgrades from Ubuntu 9.04. There was a bug for people running firefox-3.5 on Jaunty and upgrading to karmic where the profile was not disabled. This is fixed now. Feel free to adjust the profile for your needs or disable it with:
$ sudo ln -s /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox-3.5 /etc/apparmor.d/disable && sudo apparmor_parser -R /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox-3.5 -- Firefox 3.5 can't write into /var/www/anything even if "anything"'s owner is me. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439484 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
