I gave the reference of the bug I found (Gnome bug #510097). Then I got confused: the bug is filed against conduit but its description is "Google calendar to evolution misses appointments" which is correct. Does Evolution use conduit to sync with Google Calendar? If so, that is the same problem that I had.
