Well, specifically in that bug you reported that there was no acpiphp to
load. Now, the -virtual kernel has that module (per bug 364916) and
-virtual package is installed in the image (bug 429169).

If we think acpiphp.ko needs to be loaded (insmod/modprobe) by default in
uec images, then we should bring that up in a different bug.

Another option that would work is CONFIG_HOTPLUG_PCI_ACPI=y (as Etienne
originally suggested)
