Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdebi

I double click on the package in order to install it; gdebi starts, ask for the
password, install all the required dependencies, try to install the package and
then stops. It gives a message similar to "dpkg invalid file descriptor".
I can install the packages using "dpkg -i package.deb"
